What did I say about friday on my post?? .... Well, I ended up going out with my workfriends. There is this pub here in Kingston that sells Kopparberg's Cider, yay! A danish girl was having a housewarming party as well where I ended up going. I had told myself that I will go home after visiting her quickly but I should've known myself better than that. I ended up dancing the night away and my way back home was rather interesting. It was around 1.30 am when I called my boyfriend to ask how I can get from Wimbledon to Ealing Broadway. It turned out to be that it was more tricky than I had expected... Travelling in London after midnight has been made very difficult. Journey planner was telling that it'll take at least 2 hours to get home and I needed to change bus at least twice. I was in a totally alien neighbourhood, rrrreally tired and rrrreally drunk at the moment as well... It's not very good compination when you need to find your way on bus routes in a place where you've never been before. Luckily these 2 girls Nicola and Jennie that I had been partying with happened to be going back to Kingston with a cab so I decided to go with them there. I knew that the bus 65 that I take everyday goes 24h a day and it would be the simpliest way for me to get home. When I got to the bus stop I noticed that one bus had just gone and at that time of the night they only run every 30 minutes... Which meant that I had to wait for half an hour... That really sucked. I decided to walk few bus stops away from the station just to kill some time but I only made it to 4 stops further when I started to feel really tired - so I stayed there. I don't know how much time had passed but at one point a man tapped my shoulder saying "Miss, you told me to wake you up when the bus comes and it's now here" He didn't come to the bus (I think) but I have to say that he must've been my guardian angel, I don't even remember asking anyone to wake me up.... maybe he wasn't even there, maybe I was dreaming... weird. But anyway, if you are a tall black man and you woke someone up early saturday morning on a bus stop in Kingston, THANK YOU!!
The rest of the way after that was fine. I fell asleep in the bus as well, but it was ok since I knew that I just had to go all the way back to the end of the line and I was almost home. My way home from the bus stop was really long and cold, or at least that's how it felt. I was literally dragging my feet because I was so tired... It was past 3 when I got home. I had been up almost 24 hours. Well, all in all, I had a good night. I made new friends and I didn't even have a bad hangover the next day. On sunday I went shopping, but that's another story - I think the spring is finally here because the sun is really starting to feel warm :)
