Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear... I haven't been writing here for aaaaaaages! I don't really even have an excuse.
I haven't had any accidents with my bike and life has been generally good.
A few weeks back I applied for a new job because I felt that I have been working in customer services for too long now and deserve to earn a bit more money as well.
The job title was "operator administrator" and the pay was quite a bit more from what I am earning now... so of course I was interested and send off my CV.
Last week I got a call from an agency who had posted that add and to my delightment I was asked to go to an interview. It was on wednesday last week and I thought it went pretty well. Then yesterday I got a call from the agency again and they were saying that I had to go to another interview. Apparently the manager of the company had found someone who he wanted to hire but the person who interviewed me insisted that the manager should meet me before he makes his mind up because apparently the guy who interviewed me had really liked me.... (woopee, someone liked me!)
Well, yesterday I cycled home from work and changed to my interview outfit again. The manager that interviewed me was quite cute Italian man in his 30s. Chatted with him for a good 45 minutes and took a bus back home... In the evening I played a bit of Final Fantasy x 2, read Harry Potter and the half blooded prince, downloaded the newest episode of Prison Break, ate spaghetti bolognese and went to bed around 9.30pm...
TODAY
I woke up 5.30 and made me sandwiched for lunch. Caught the bus to work, was bored, bored, bored.... chatted a bit on MSN, tried to read STAND from Stephen King, watched silly videos on youtube.com, talked to customers, replied to emails... and then my phone rang. The work agency called me and delivered the good news. Both the interviewer and the general manager had loved me and they thought that I would be perfect for the job. So YAY... I got me a new job today. When I had hanged up the phone with the agency I jumped up from my seat and did a little victory dance... GOOD BYE NASTY CUSTOMERS! Well, I still have to be here for another 2 weeks since that is my notice period... I'm going to miss this place though, I am sure about it. But change is good, and especially change from this... woohoo!
