My dear, my dear, my dear.... It's been a month (OVER A MONTH) since I wrote anything here... sowwy! Lots has happened actually so it's not really my fault that I've been lazy :D
Well, one reason is that it's summer now... Last weekend it was sooooooo HOT and you know how it is in big cities when it's hot, the air gets heavy and it makes you feel that you don't want to do anything. And naturally that was the weekend when I had to move. Well, at least moving is over now and I am living in a wonderful flat in Wimbledon. Well, South Wimbledon... Abbey Mills. It's a wonderful area with a little river going right next to the flat. Building is new. I have double glacing in the windows (it's something quite rare in England still) clean kitchen and bathroom with a bathtub.
I also had a leaving party in our old flat. We had a nice bbq party 3rd of June. It was the first hot day of this summer and the party was a real success! Probably won't be having many parties in my new flat though, it's so nice and sophisticated... maybe I'll just invite some friends over and we can taste wine and eat cheese :D
I love London, it's like THE place for me. I rarely go to the centre since it's just expensive and boring, but the outer London is just full of possibilities and that's where real people live. I was sitting in a bus this morning with my friend and we were wondering if there were any english people in the bus with us... Probably not. I think english are minority in London. There are so many immigrants from around the world that it's hard to understand...
Actually one funny thing that I noticed about me when I moved here was that I was actually really narrow minded when it came to the colour of the skin. I am not racist at all, but when I lived in Finland in a small town in the middle of no where I only saw white people where ever I went. When I came here I was suddenly surrounded by black people and I found it little intimidating, I didn't know how to talk to a black person... I know it might sound funny but that's something you need to experience for yourself. Like for example when I joined the gym my gym instructer was black. She was really nice but still I saw her as a black woman... how weird. BUT... 6 months later here I am living my life with black people without even noticing that they are black. I meet Indian, Sri Lankan, South African, Scandinavian, Eastern European, American, Australian people every day and they all seem the same to me... Well, at least until I have to write their name down... "excuse me, how do you spell your name..."
I FOUND THE REMOTE CONTROL!!!
Well, I didn't actually find it... After the bbq party in the beginning of this month I was cleaning up the mess and I just picked up the remote control from the living room table... I have to say that it was very bizarre. I swear I had looked absolutely everywhere... it feels like the remote control just went on a holiday and then it came back... weird.
But now I shall go home...
PS. I'm going to be in Finland 29.6. - 16.7

Yey you are alive! I know what you mean by talking to people with different skin colour... It was the same thing with me when I was in Florida.
Let me know your whereabouts in Finland. I am travelling quite lot, so maybe we will see each other.
